My family size is a pretty average size: mom, dad, daughter, and son. My children are in elementary school and have a minimum amount of things going on in their lives. They are quite clean children and usually don’t roll in the mud too often or come home from school with stains all over their clothes … more than 4 times a week. See? We’re a pretty average household.
I have many friends and family members who have anywhere from 4-8 kids in their families and their laundry is out of control. They post photos and I see that laundry day is not just a day to let the laundry wash, dry, and you take 15 minutes out of your day to sort and fold the laundry. It is an all day thing and I am always impressed.
I always thought that with a family of 4, laundry wouldn’t add up too much but I have been so wrong! Our children do their own laundry and I still feel like the washer and dryer are running most days to keep up with all the laundry our average family produces. There are so many times when both my kids need clothes for school but one already started the wash so now we’re waiting for this 45-minute cycle to finish so the other child can get their clothes washed before bed or before school in the morning.
Well, this is no longer a problem because LG has come out with a twin washer! It is incredible! With LG’s TwinWash, available at Best Buy, you can get the wash done in half the time! LG’s TwinWash system has a LG SideKick pedestal washer that can be used simultaneously as the bigger load wash with your LG Front load washer. They are energy efficient, can wash any size load, and can give you the best cleaning performance!
Plus there’s a great offer going on right now: From 1/11-4/25 receive up to $500 off a LG laundry solution for your home at Best Buy.
My productivity for laundry is about to go up! Two loads at one time means that I can spend less time worrying about laundry and more time on everything else! It will also help with the frustration we all feel when someone just started a load and you really wanted to do a load right then, too. Or maybe that’s just my house. It’s the only con I’ve found of having your kids do their own laundry.
