These pork fries are delicious and simple. If you haven’t had loaded fries topped with pork, salsa, cheese, and sauce, then you’re missing out.
Have you ever tasted something for the first time and thought, “OMG. This is unlike anything else. Ever.” Well, welcome to what I experienced the first time I tried these earlier this year.
I live in a somewhat small city with maybe 11,000 people. We have a Walmart, a McDonald’s, a Dollar Tree, and a bank. Oh, and a Great Clips just went in next to the Dollar Tree. We also have a gorgeous golf course with a golf club, or the Recreation Center, as they like to call it. Although, there’s very little recreation that actually happens in it. There is, however, a Grill that has changed owners a few times since we’ve moved here. We finally tried the Grill and there is one chef there that always makes my food taste amazing. I have a deep love for Mushroom Swiss Burgers but then one day I tried his Pork Fries and OMG. They are amazing.
Well, this chef has worked there since we started going. We found out his schedule so we’d be there when he was there because his food is amazing. Everyone else’s is decent … or just not good. However, he also let us know that he was quitting so the next natural thing to do was to learn how to make pork fries so I didn’t have to go without.
This recipe encompasses everything I love about food – flavor, taste, and really, fried, fatty food.
With these loaded pork fries, you can make everything homemade or you can buy it all and put it all together.

You can buy pre-made shredded pork or make your own shredded pork. To cook the pork, season with salt, pepper, and barbecue seasoning. Cook until done and shred.
We like fry our French fries but they are equally good made in the oven.
