  1. Melt butter in skillet over medium high heat. Add in onions and cook until translucent.
  2. Stir in butternut squash and stir until covered in butter. Stir frequently and allow to cook for 10 minutes or until cooked through.
  3. Add in cooked wild rice and stir and heat until rice is heated through. Add in kale, cook for about 1 minute, and remove from heat.
  4. If needed, add a little milk to the mix if it seems to be a little dry.
  5. Add apples and cheese to the top.
