No whipped cream in a can? Use heavy cream and a little sugar to make whipped cream!
I am a heavy pasta and cheese consumer. If I could eat it everyday, I would. My metabolism and health sense says I should do otherwise but the cravings are there almost every single day. One day, I had been craving a cheesy pasta for at least a week so I bought some heavy cream.
The next morning I made French Toast for breakfast and my kids don’t know how to eat French Toast without eating it with whipped cream. Unfortunately we didn’t have any in our refrigerator and as much as I could have driven down the street to the grocery store to buy more, laziness kicked in and I couldn’t get myself to get to the store, especially as the kids were hungry for food. Luckily I had the heavy cream in the fridge so we ended up using it to make the whipped cream.
Guys. I may never go back. I had no idea it was so delicious to make it like this. Plus it was an easy, cheap solution to our whipped cream needs.
